NYACK, N.Y. - The Concordia College women's volleyball team earned an important Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) North Division victory on Wednesday evening. The Clippers defeated Nyack College, 3-1, behind a season-best .342 attacking percentage.
The Warriors would take the opening set 25-21 as Concordia bounced back to take the second set 25-20 and tie the match at 1-1. From here the Clippers would dominate as they took a 25-9 win in the third set behind a .538 attacking percentage and completed the match with a 25-15 victory in the fourth set while hitting .375.
Sophomore Sydney Darden (Marietta, Ga.) led Concordia's offense with 19 kills on a .444 attacking percentage while also adding 10 digs for the double-double. Sophomore Michelle Klimas (Thornwood, N.Y.) would add 13 kills while hitting .414 as sophomore Celine Arada (San Francisco, Calif.) recorded a team-high 21 digs on the defensive end and sophomore Jenny Martin (Simi Valley, Calif.) finished with a team-best 28 assists.
The Clippers (2-2, 2-2 CACC) will have the weekend off as their next match is not until Tuesday, September 29th.
