NYACK, N.Y. – For the third time in the past four games the Concordia Clippers women's soccer team dropped a one-goal decision as Nyack defeated Concordia 1-0 in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) match on Wednesday afternoon.
The Clippers allowed the lone goal of the game in the 68th minute as Jessica Short scored off an assist from Katherine Oldfield for the Warriors. The defense for Concordia had another solid game as only two shots were allowed on net.
Senior goalkeeper Samantha Street (Granite Falls, Wash.) had one save in the game for the Clippers as Concordia was out-shot 11-6. Freshman Dayna Darcy (Plainedge, N.Y.) led the Clippers with two shots in the game.
Concordia (0-5-0, 0-4-0 CACC) will next return home for four straight games at Holtdorf Soccer Field.
