Pirn Sets PR at CACC Championship; Women’s Cross Country Places 12th

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – Sophomore Irene Pirn saved her best 5K of the season for last, setting her personal record Sunday afternoon at the 2019 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Championship while the Concordia College New York women's cross country team finished 12th overall.

NOTES
• The 2019 CACC Championship featured 87 runners from 12 programs.
• Jefferson University was the top team finisher, while Kaitlyn Bragen of Georgian Court University was the individual victor.

HOW IT HAPPENED 
• Pirn established her 5K PR behind a 30:28.2 strut.

• Senior Yeisy Cruz ran a season-best 31:06.7 time.

• Junior Carly Acuña and freshman Leah Dillon crossed the final line at the 37:47.9 and 37:48.0 marks.

• Seniors Taylor Scruggs and Nicole Triassi posted times of 38:53.8 and 38:54.0, respectively.
