NYACK, N.Y. - The Concordia Clippers women's volleyball team concluded their season on Tuesday evening at Nyack College in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) North Division match. Concordia was unable to end their season with a victory as the Warriors took a 3-1 win at Bowman Gymnasium.
The Clippers came out in the first set taking a 25-16 victory as Concordia hit .226, their best percentage of any set on the night. The Warriors knotted the match at 1-1 following a 25-17 win in set two, and took the lead with a 25-15 victory in the third set. The Clippers were unable to extend the match to a fifth set as Nyack secured a 25-18 win to take the match, 3-1.
Freshman Kiakahi Vaioleti (Manoa, Hawaii) led the offense for Concordia with eight kills on a .238 attacking percentage as sophomore Michaela Appel (Rockaway Park, N.Y.) added seven kills. Junior Jenny Martin (Simi Valley, Calif.) recorded a team-high 14 assists as junior Celine Arada (San Francisco, Calif.) led the defense with 12 digs.
