Clippers Shutout by Nyack, 3-0

Nyack, NY – The Concordia College Clippers women's volleyball team played against Nyack College this evening. The Warriors won the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) match 3-0 (25-20, 25-20, 25-19).

The Clippers had a hard time getting their offense going as they only hit .065 for the match. Nyack's 60 total digs contributed to the low attacking percentage as the Clippers only recorded 23 kills.

Olivia Thompson (Peoria, AZ) led Concordia with seven attacks and hit .500 for the match while Courtney Hanson (Bellerose, NY) recorded a season high 10 digs on the defensive end.

The Warriors were led by Allyson Rola (Beacon, NY) who had 10 kills and hit .444 for the match. With the win, Nyack is now 5-8 (4-3 CACC) and tied for third in the CACC North Division standings.

Concordia (0-13, 0-7 CACC) will look to win their first match of the season as they travel to Goldey-Beacom this Saturday for a 1pm contest in Wilmington, DE.
