The 2020-21 academic year marks Neil's 9th year as head coach of the women's tennis program at Concordia. The women hold a record of 114-47 under his guidance.

In eight seasons at the helm, the Clippers claimed five-straight CACC Championships from the 2012-16, advancing the NCAA National Championship Tournament every year with three trips to the Round of 16.

He has produced four CACC Players of the Year, three CACC Rookies of the Year, 29 All-CACC honorees, 10 CACC All-Academuc Team members, two CACC Top XIV Award recipients, three East Region Rookies of the Year, two ITA East Region Players to Watch, two ITA East Region Women's Senior Player of the Year and one ITA National Freshman of the year. He has garnered CACC Coach of the Year twice (2012-13, 2019-20) and ITA East Region Coach of the Year once (2013).

Coach Tarangioli has been at the helm of the men's tennis program since 1981. In his 38 years with the men, the Clippers have won 565 matches, made 22 NCAA Division II National Championship appearances and have maintained the number one ranking by the ITA since 2005.

Tarangioli joined the Concordia coaching staff in 1978 after a successful tennis and squash career at Fordham University.  He played varsity for both sports all 4 years. He was voted MVP for Tennis in 1973 and in 1977 and MVP for Squash in 1977. He served as captain of both teams in his senior year. He received his B.A. in History.

Coach Tarangioli has been a 20+ year member of the UPTA and was selected Member of the Year in 1996. In 2012 the USPTA honored him with the “College Coach of the Year “ award for the Eastern region. He has served on the ITA Ranking Committee for 6 terms while serving as Chairman four times. He served 4 terms on the ITA Awards Committee and numerous Tournament committees. He has served on the NCAA National Championship Selection Committee for 2 terms. As Coach Tarangioli says of his volunteerism, he learned from his Jesuit days at Fordham Prep and Fordham University the importance of "service to others!"

Coach Neil recently celebrated his 33rd Wedding Anniversary. His wife Doretta is a RN and Supervisor for the Intensive Care Recovery Room at the Montefiore Medical Center. Their oldest son graduated Boston College and works in Manhattan. One daughter is enrolled at Iona College and the youngest daughter is enrolled at Villanova University.
