Women’s Tennis Welcomes USciences Tuesday

BRONXVILLE, N.Y. – The Concordia College New York women's tennis team returns to the Meyers Tennis Center for its final home match of the fall season on Tuesday, Oct. 15 when the University of the Sciences comes to town for a 2:30 p.m. Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) match.

About the Clippers
Concordia (9-0, 7-0 CACC) returns home after a pair of victories over 2019 National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division II National Tournament participants, defeating Goldey-Beacom College 4-3 on Sunday, Oct. 13 to become the last team undefeated in CACC play.

Freshmen Ebba Rosberg (Stockholm, Sweden) leads the team behind 16 combined victories, boasting a 9-0 mark in singles play with seven triumphs in doubles alongside fellow freshman Paula Palero (Cullera, Spain) who holds an 8-0 record in singles for 15 wins.  Junior Ann Kathrin Wirlitsch (Dresden, Germany) and freshman Alexandra Dumitrescu (Spring, Texas) team up in the Clippers' only undefeated doubles team at 7-0, with each adding seven victories in singles action for 12 combined victories apiece.

About the Devils
USciences (6-4, 6-1 CACC) concludes its current three-match homestand on Monday, Oct. 14 against St. Thomas Aquinas College prior to making the trip to Bronxville.

Stephanie Mazurek boasts a team-best 14 triumphs on the year, winning seven in both singles and doubles play primarily alongside Myra Anwar.
