BRONXVILLE, N.Y. – The Concordia College New York women's tennis team takes a hiatus from Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) play on Thursday, Oct. 3, when the Clippers trek to the University of New Haven for a 3 p.m. contest.

Concordia (5-0, 4-0 CACC) dips out of conference play after posting its fourth-straight 7-0 decision with a sweep at Caldwell University on Tuesday, Oct. 1.

Junior Ann Kathrin Wirlitsch (Dresden, Germany) boasts an unblemished 9-0 dual-match record this season, pairing up with freshman Alexandra Dumitrescu (Spring, Texas) in the Clippers' only undefeated doubles duo with a 4-0 record. Dumitrescu adds a 4-0 singles record to her undefeated doubles mark, while freshmen Paula Palero (Cullera, Spain) and Ebba Rosberg (Stockholm, Sweden) are both 5-0 in singles play and 4-1 in doubles to match Wirlitsch for the team lead with nine combined victories.

About the Chargers
New Haven (5-3, 4-3 NE10) welcomes Concordia after blanking Molloy College 7-0 in a non-conference action on Sunday, Sept. 29.

Alexa Orlando boasts a team-best 11 combined victories, matching Kacie Banks for the team-lead with six triumphs in singles play and five in doubles primarily alongside Katherine MacPhail.
