BRONXVILLE, N.Y. – The Concordia College New York women's tennis team opened the home portion of its 2019-20 schedule in commanding fashion on Saturday afternoon, dropping just one game to visiting Holy Family University over nine matches in a 7-0 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) victory.

• Concordia improves to 2-0, 1-0 in CACC play.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• Juniors Angelica Karlsson Hantzis (Fuengirola, Malaga, Spain) and Josefina Torres Martin (Miami, Fla.) swept the Lions' top doubles pair of Latifah Hinaway and Nathalie Rivera 6-0.
• Junior Ann Kathrin Wirlitsch (Dresden, Germany) and freshman Alexandra Dumitrescu (Spring, Texas) prevailed 6-0 at the third flight over Keisha Bowman and Alexis Frkaiser.
• Current CACC Player and Rookie of the Week freshman Ebba Rosberg (Stockholm, Sweden) and Paula Palero (Culelra, Spain) bested Meghan Moyer and Alleyn Llaban 6-1 on court two.
• Rosberg blanked Rivera at the top singles position 6-0, 6-0.
• Torres Martin recorded a 6-0, 6-0 triumph over Hinaway on court two.
• Palero outlasted Llaban 6-0, 6-0 at the third position.
• Junior Katrina Sta Cruz (Las Vegas, Nev.) bested Forkaiser at the sixth slot 6-0, 6-0.
• Dumitrescu recorded back-to-back 6-0 scores over Bowman on court five.
• Wirlitsch prevailed 6-0, 6-0 against Moyer at the fourth flight.
