BRONXVILLE, N.Y. – The Concordia College New York women's tennis team hosts NCAA Division III's Brooklyn College in the Clippers' penultimate home match of the season on Friday, April 5 with first serve scheduled for 12 p.m.

Concordia (13-6) entertains its second-straight non-Division II foe after falling against Division I's Fairleigh Dickinson University 7-0 on Monday, Mar. 18.

Senior Tadi Mrewa (East London, South Africa) and sophomore Josefina Torres Martin (Miami, Fla.) both have 29 total victories, with Mrewa boasting a team-leading 16 triumphs in singles action while Martin and fellow sophomore Angelica Karlsson Hantzis (Fuengirola, Malaga, Spain) pair up for 16 wins in the 39th-ranked duo.

Brooklyn College (15-2) plays its first match of the spring after ending the fall as City University of New York Athletic Conference (CUNYAC) champions behind a 6-0 league record before claiming the conference crown with a 5-1 victory over Hunter College in the championship match.

Ievgeniia Kostenko, the reigning CUNYAC Player of the Year, boasts an unblemished 23-0 record behind a 12-0 mark at the top doubles flight and 11-0 at the first singles position, with Rosa Aksanov holding a team-leading 30 victories with a 16 doubles wins and 14 singles triumphs.
