BRONXVILLE, N.Y. – The Concordia College New York women's soccer team looks for its third-consecutive Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) triumph on Wednesday, Oct. 9 when the Clippers travel to Post University for a 3 p.m. contest.

Concordia (4-4-1, 2-2-1 CACC) secured its best finish in CACC play with seven matches remaining after defeating Chestnut Hill College 4-1 on Saturday, Oct. 5. The Clippers average 1.56 goals per game on a .123 shot percentage with a 2.76 goals allowed rate.

Junior forward Sara Calvert (Apple Valley, Calif.) and freshman midfielder Leigh-Ann Ramsay (Bronx, N.Y.) tie for the team lead with four goals apiece, tied for eighth in the CACC, with Calvert adding a pair of assists for 10 total points that ranks ninth. Freshman defender Morganne Cartee (New Milford, Conn.) dishes out a team-leading three assists, while sophomore forward Jimena Garcia-Risoto (Madrid, Spain) chips in three scores.

In goal, redshirt-sophomore keeper Sophia Cogan (Seal Beach, Calif.) ranks second in the league and 29th amongst all National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division II goalies with 56 saves on a .756 save percentage with a 2.56 goals allowed average in 632:44 minutes while recently named CACC Goalie of the Week freshman Meagan Meuweisse (Beacom, N.Y.) registers 15 saves in 212:55 minutes of play over five appearances..

About the Eagles
Post (3-3-2, 3-1 CACC) returns home for a three-match homestand riding a three-match win streak, most recently defeating Wilmington University (Del.) 3-2 on Saturday, Oct. 5. The Eagles average 1.50 goals per contest on a .158 shot percentage with a 2.38 goals allowed rate.

Lydia Asamoah sparks the Post attack behind a team-best five goals, tied for fourth within the league, with one assist for 11 points that ties for sixth. Fitore Klobocishta dishes out a team-high four assists, tied for the second-most in the CACC.

In goal, Tayleur Little stops a league-leading 67 shots on a .779 save percentage in 712:33 minutes of action over eight appearances with a 2.40 goals allowed average.
