BRONXVILLE, N.Y. – On the heels of its first victory of the 2019 season, the Concordia College New York women's soccer team travels to the College of Staten Island on Wednesday, Sept. 18 for a 3:30 p.m. contest.

About the Clippers
Concordia (1-2) makes its first trip to Staten Island after defeating St. Thomas Aquinas College in overtime 2-1 on Saturday, Sept. 14. The Clippers are averaging 1.67 goals per game on a .172 shot percentage while allowing 3.15 goals.

Redshirt-junior forward Sara Calvert (Apple Valley, Calif.) and freshman midfielder Leigh-Ann Ramsay (Bronx, N.Y.) both tie for third within in the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) with five points, with the two Clippers' two goals also tying for third in the conference. Ramsay also ranks third in the league with 15 shots taken, while Ramsay, Calvert and sophomore forward Jimena Garcia-Risoto (Madrid, Spain) all have one assist with Garcia-Risoto chipping in one goal.

In goal, redshirt-sophomore Sophia Cogan (Seal Beach, Calif.) ties for third in the CACC with 22 saves on a .750 save percentage in 236:34 minutes of action over three appearances.

About the Dolphins
Staten Island (1-2) remains at home after falling against William Paterson University 3-0 on Saturday, Sept. 14. The Dolphins average 1.67 goals per game on a 0.179 shot percentage while allowing 3.33 goals.

Samantha LaValle paces CSI behind six points from three goals. Mirsade Pelinkovic and Jordan Yagos both chip in one score, while Pelinkovic and Angye Galan each have one assist on the year.

Samanth Beaudreult has logged all 270 minutes in goal for Staten Island, recording 20 saves on a .667 percentage with a 3.33 goals allowed average.
