Clippers Shut Out by Dominican, 4-0

Orangeburg, NY – The Concordia College Clippers women's soccer team traveled to Dominican College (NY) this evening for a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) matchup. The Chargers captured their fourth win of the season in a 4-0 shutout victory over the Clippers.

Dominican got on the scoreboard just three minutes into the game. Jennifer Becker (Hawthorne, NJ) headed a corner kick from Jamilyn Snyder (Lacey, NJ). Five minutes later Olivia Antonopoulos (Baldwin, NY) tacked on the second goal for the Chargers to take an early 2-0 lead.

At the 12 minute mark, Becker scored her second goal of the game and Danielle Klecha (Jamesburg, NJ) added the final goal for Dominican in the 28th minute. The Clippers were outshot 16-5 in the game.

Jessica Nanan (Queens, NY) recorded four saves for Concordia while two goalkeepers for the Chargers combined for three saves.

The Clippers (2-10, 0-9 CACC) will host Chestnut Hill College this Saturday, October 15th for a 12pm match. The game will take place at SUNY Purchase and directions can be found at the Clippers' women's soccer schedule on ConcordiaClippers.com
