Concordia (N.Y.) Shutout by Philadelphia University, 6-0

Philadelphia, Pa. – The Concordia College (N.Y.) Clippers women's soccer team faced off against Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) opponent Philadelphia U. this afternoon. The Rams took control during the game winning by a margin of 6-0.

The Clippers were held without a shot in today's game as the Rams were able to put 11 of their 16 shots on net. Concordia goalkeeper Jessica Nanan made five saves in the loss.

Philadelphia U. had six different goal scorers in the game. Trisha Sielo got the first goal of the game only 2:44 into play. Janine Cascio, Kristen Ferguson, Dana Rokoszak and Carla Chmielewski all scored their goals in the first half. Nicole Van Bourgondien added the final goal at the 68th minute for the Rams' third win of the year.

Concordia (2-3, 0-2 CACC) will play at home this Tuesday, September 13th against conference foe Post. Kickoff is scheduled for 3pm.
