Christie Tomasino Conforti enters her 7th season as Head Coach of the women's basketball program in 2020-21 after being named the Interim Head Coach on Jan. 23, 2014. She arrived on campus during the 2012-13 season as an assistant coach.
During the 2016-17 season, Tomasino led the program to their first-ever Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Championship Tournament appearance. Their eight victories during the campaign were the most since the 2012-13 season. Tomasino also coached the program's first All-CACC selection since the 2012-13 season while earning the program's most road victories since the 2004-05 campaign.
In Tomasino's first full season as head coach in 2014-15, she would improve the program from a 0-26 record to a 4-22 record as Concordia knocked off CACC powerhouse Caldwell, 65-55, on December 17th in the Meyer Athletic Center. The 2015-16 season also saw the Clippers finish with a 4-22 record.
As assistant coach she worked on conditioning the guards, assist with game strategy, statistics and recruiting coordination.
Tomasino was a member of the Pace Setters for two seasons where she earned recognition on the Northeast-10's Commissioner's Honor Roll for the 2007-'08 season.
Christie hails from Staten Island, N.Y. where she attended St John's Villa Academy. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Pace in 2010.
