BRONXVILLE, N.Y. – The Concordia College New York women's basketball team hits the road on Saturday, Feb. 8 for a 4 p.m. Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) road tilt at Goldey-Beacom College.

About the Clippers
Concordia (5-16, 4-8 CACC) remains on the road after besting Bloomfield College 75-58 on Tuesday, Feb. 4. The Clippers lead the CACC behind 11.4 team steals, the 24th-highest average amongst all Division II programs with 239 total which ranks 23rd nationally, while averaging 59.7 points on a .326 field goal percentage with 39.8 rebounds, 12.2 assists and 2.7 blocks.

Senior guard Nicole Nicholson (Staten Island, N.Y.) leads the CACC in steals per game and ranks eighth nationally behind a 3.3 rate for 69 total which sits sixth in the country while chipping in 11.1 points offensively. Junior guard Shanice Graves (Brooklyn, N.Y.) joins in Nicholson in the top-10 of the conference in steals with 2.1, fifth-highest in the league, while leading the Clippers with 11.8 points, 0.6 blocks and 6.2 rebounds which ties freshman forward Jaayden Lafontant (Thiells, N.Y.) for the team-lead with Lafontant pulling down 3.4 offensive rebounds which ranks fourth within in the CACC. Sophomore guard Sara Hopkins (Mountain Top, Pa.) dishes out 3.6 assists which sits sixth within the conference over 37.0 minutes which places second in the CACC and 20th nationally. Freshman guard Christina Brown (Ardmore, Pa.) chips in 10.4 points with the seventh-most free throws made in the conference at 60.

About the Lightning
Goldey-Beacom (5-15, 5-7 CACC) returns to its homecourt where it has won its last two outings after falling at nationally-ranked University of the Sciences 80-52 on Wednesday, Feb 4. The Lightning average 59.5 points on a .387 field goal percentage with 37.1 rebounds, 11.3 assists, 5.6 steals and 3.3 blocks.

Amanda McGrogan leads a trio of Lightning averaging double-digit points with 14.9, ninth-best rate within the CACC, adding a team-best 4.1 assists which sits second in the league and 1.7 steals. Alexis Harrison chips in 10.6 points on a .500 clip that ranks third amongst CACC competitors that average 10 points or more while recording a team-leading 6.2 rebounds and 1.1 blocks which places ninth in the league with Sarah Round adding 11.0 points.
