BRONXVILLE, N.Y. – The Concordia College New York women's basketball team hosts Dominican College (N.Y.) in the first leg of the home-and-home Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) North Division series on Wednesday, Jan. 15 with tip-off set for 5 p.m.

About the Clippers
Concordia (3-12, 2-4 CACC) returns to the friendly confines of the Meyer Athletic Center after a 73-57 setback at defending CACC Tournament Champion Jefferson University on Saturday, Jan. 11. The Clippers lead the CACC behind 12.1 team steals, the 19th-highest average amongst all Division II programs with 182 total which ranks 15th nationally, while averaging 56.8 points on a .310 field goal percentage with 38.9 rebounds, 11.0 assists and 2.8 blocks.

Senior guard Nicole Nicholson (Staten Island, N.Y.) leads the CACC in steals per game and ranks seventh nationally behind a 3.3 rate for 50 total which sits sixth in the country, joined in the top-10 of the conference by junior guard Shanice Graves (Brooklyn, N.Y.) and reigning CACC Freshman of the Week Christina Brown (Ardmore, Pa.) who tie for sixth and rank eighth with averages of 2.0 and 1.9. Graves adds a team-leading 10.7 points and 0.8 blocks, with Brown dishing out the 10th highest assist per game rate at 2.9 assists while sophomore guard Sara Hopkins (Mountain Top. Pa.) averages 36.7 minutes per game which ranks second in the league and 17th nationally with 43 made free throws on a .782 clip which rank fourth and sixth respectively. Freshman forward Jaayden Lafontant (Thiells, N.Y.) pulls down a team-best 5.8 rebounds.

About the Chargers
Dominican (6-9, 4-2 CACC) treks to Bronxville following an 81-70 triumph against Wilmington University (Del.) on Saturday, Jan. 11. The Chargers average 65.3 points on a .393 clip with 38.9 rebounds, 12.9 assists, 9.3 steals and 3.7 blocks.

Korina Guerra paces the Chargers' attack behind 10.9 points, adding a team-best 1.5 steals on the defensive end. Taylor Tomlinson records a team-high 5.5 rebounds and 0.9 blocks to go with 10.5 points while Ashley Merrit tallies a team-high 2.7 assists.
