BRONXVILLE, N.Y. – The Concordia College New York women's basketball team travels to reigning Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Tournament Champion Jefferson University on Saturday, Jan. 11 for a 2 p.m. conference contest.

About the Clippers
Concordia (3-11, 2-3 CACC) takes its lone trip to Philadelphia this season after overcoming a National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division II record 28-point deficit in a 76-74 overtime victory at Caldwell University on Wednesday, Jan. 8. The Clippers lead the CACC behind 11.9 team steals, the 22nd-highest average amongst all Division II programs with 167 total which ranks 15th nationally, while averaging 56.8 points on a .307 field goal percentage with 39.5 rebounds, 10.9 assists and 2.9 blocks.

Senior guard Nicole Nicholson (Staten Island, N.Y.) leads the CACC in steals per game and ranks 11th nationally behind a 3.3 rate for 46 total which sits seventh in the country, joined in the top-10 of the conference by junior guard Shanice Graves (Brooklyn, N.Y.) and freshman guard Christina Brown (Ardmore, Pa.) who tie for fifth and rank 10th with averages of 2.0 and 1.9 while Graves adds a team-leading 10.4 points and 0.8 blocks. Sophomore guard Sara Hopkins (Mountain Top. Pa.) orchestrates the offense with 2.9 assists, 10th-best rate in the CACC, over 36.4 minutes on the court which sits second in the league and 17th nationally while chipping in 10.3 points fueled by 42 made free throws on an .792 clip which rank fourth and fifth in the conference respectively. Freshman forward Jaayden Lafontant (Thiells, N.Y.) pulls down a team-best 5.8 rebounds.

About the Rams
Jefferson (5-8, 2-3 CACC) returns home after falling at nationally-ranked University of the Sciences 60-44 on Wednesday, Jan. 8. The Rams average 67.1 points on a .394 clip with 37.0 rebounds, 12.9 assists, 9.6 steals and 3.2 blocks.

Alynna Williams paces the offense behind 17.2 points, third-highest in the CACC, over a league-leading 36.5 minutes per game with 2.0 steals that ties for fifth in the conference and second on the team behind Haley Haley Meinel who ranks fourth with 2.4 swipes on top of 10.1 points. Sabria Lytes pulls down a team-best 5.5 rebounds with 1.0 blocks, tied for the ninth-best rate in the league, while Morgan Robinson dishes out a team-high 2.9 assists which places ninth in the conference.
