BRONXVILLE, N.Y. – Freshman guard Christina Brown (Ardmore, Pa.) erupted for 20 points off the Concordia College New York women's basketball team's bench on Saturday afternoon, 11 coming over the final 10 minutes of play, while freshman guard Marigona Bacaliu (Worcester, Mass) stifled visiting Post University with a personal-best six steals which ties for the second-most in program history in a 73-60 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) setback.

STANDOUT PERFORMERS
• Brown added five rebounds, four assists and four steals.
• Sophomore guard Sara Hopkins (Mountain Top, Pa.) chipped in 12 points with four assists and one block.
• Freshman forward Jaayden Lafontant (Thiells, N.Y.) pulled down a team-high seven rebounds.
• Senior guard Nicole Nicholson (Staten Island, N.Y.) scored 10 points with four steals and three assists.
• For Post, Taylor Williams and Angelica Flores each scored 16 points while Sha'Raya Haines logged 12 rebounds, 11 points and four assists.
HOW IT HAPPENED
• After each side scored a pair of baskets to start the contest, Post used a 13-3 run to pull ahead 16-7 with 2:25 remaining in the opening quarter. Concordia scored four free throws to end the frame, making it 16-11.
• Following a Post triple to start the second quarter, the Clippers scored three-consecutive baskets to make it a one-possession game at 19-17 with 7:33 left in the half. Each side had quick 5-0 spurts to maintain the separation before an 11-0 run created a double-digit gap at 35-22 with 3:14 remaining in the half. Both teams connected on a triple down the stretch, with Brown adding a free throw to create a 38-26 halftime score.
• Concordia responded to a 4-0 run by Post to start the second half with five-straight points before the visitors used a 7-3 stretch to pull ahead 49-34 with 1:39 remaining in the frame. Each side scored a basket in the final 1:01 of the quarter to make it 51-36.
• Concordia scored eight of the opening 10 points of the final quarter to get within single digits at 53-44 with 6:31 remaining in the contest. Post countered with an 8-2 stretch of its own, but a 7-2 rally from Concordia brought the separation back to 10 at 63-53 with 2:03 left to play. The Clippers got back within single digits at 67-58, but the visitors ended the contest on a 6-0 run.

• The Clippers converted on 22-71 shots, going 3-21 from three-point territory and 13-23 from the free throw line.
• Post finished 25-50 from the field, 9-22 from distance and 14-21 from the free throw line.
• Concordia recorded 16 assists while Post had 17.
• Post held a 50-33 advantage in rebounds.
• Concordia committed eight turnovers, resulting in seven points for Post. The visitors had 25 turnovers, leading to 23 points.
• Concordia recorded 16 steals with one block while the Eagles had two steals with eight blocks.
• Concordia got 24 points off its bench while Post got 16.
