BRONXVILLE, N.Y. – The Concordia College New York women's basketball team begins a three-game road swing on Saturday, Dec. 7, when the Clippers travel to Queens College (N.Y.) for a 2 p.m. non-conference contest.

Concordia (1-7, 0-1 CACC) hits the road after falling against Bloomfield College in its Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) opener 62-51 on Tuesday, Dec. 3. The Clippers average 53.1 points on a .292 field goal percentage with 39.5 rebounds, 10.6 assists, 10.5 steals which ranks second in the conference and 2.9 blocks.

Senior guard Nicole Nicholson (Staten Island, N.Y.) leads the CACC in steals per game behind a 2.9 rate, joined in the top-10 of the conference by junior guard Shanice Graves (Brooklyn, N.Y.) and freshman guard Marigona Bacaliu (Worcester, Mass.) who average 2.0 and 1.9 which rank sixth and 10th respectively, while connecting on the eighth-most three pointers within the league with 14 en route to a team-high 10.9 points per game average. Freshman Jaayden Lafontant (Thiells, N.Y.) pulls down a team-best 6.0 rebounds on top of a team-high 0.9 blocks while sophomore guard Sara Hopkins (Mountain Top, Pa.) dishes out 2.9 assists.

About the Knights
Queens (1-7, 0-0 ECC) begins a three-game homestand after dropping a 64-50 decision at American International College on Wednesday, Dec. 4. The Knights average 56.1 points on a .409 clip with 34.8 rebounds, 11.0 assists, 6.8 steals and 2.8 blocks.

Zoria West leads a duo of Knights averaging double-digit points behind a 13.3 rate, followed by Raiana Brown who chips in 13.0 points on top of a team-leading 6.8 rebounds. Lucy Tougas and Brianne Moxley both distribute 3.3 assists, with Tougas adds a team-leading 1.7 steals on the defensive end while Chidnma Ndukauba logs 0.9 blocks.
