2018-19 CACC All-Academic Team
NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) announced its Women's Basketball All-Academic Team on Friday afternoon, with redshirt-sophomore guard Caitlin Thompson (Bronx, N.Y.) representing Concordia College New York on the team.
To be eligible for the All-Academic Team, a student-athletes must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5 at the end of the immediate preceding term, minimum of two semesters enrolled as full-time student at member institution, be second year student-athlete at member institution and have been athletically eligible the season preceding the award and used a season of eligibility.
An Education major, Thompson holds a 3.98 GPA while appearing in 14 games during the 2018-19 season.
It is Thompson's first honor from the conference, and the 15th women's basketball student-athlete to receive All-Academic Team distinction since the 2010-11 season.
Concordia ended the 2018-19 season with a 7-21 overall record, 5-14 in CACC play.
