BRONXVILLE, N.Y. – The Concordia College New York women's basketball team wraps up its stretch of three-consecutive weekend trips to Philadelphia, Pa. on Saturday, Feb. 9 to take on nationally-ranked University of the Sciences in Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) play. Tip-off is slated for 1 p.m.

About the Clippers
Concordia (5-16, 3-9 CACC) plays against its first nationally-ranked opponent since the season opener against then-ranked eighth Bentley University after defeating Holy Family University 70-64 on Saturday, Feb. 2. The Clippers average 60.1 points on a .357 field goal percentage with 35.4 rebounds, 13.8 assists, 8.3 steals and 2.3 blocks.

Sophomore guard Cameron Corbett (Staten Island, N.Y.) leads a trio of Clippers that average double-digit scoring with 14.2 points, the ninth-highest average in the league, adding 3.3 assists per game that ties for 10th in the conference and second on the team behind sophomore guard Saundra Cleckley (Queens, N.Y.) who records the eighth-best rate at 3.4. Junior guard Nicole Nicholson (Staten Island, N.Y.) sparks the defense behind 2.2 steals, ranking sixth in the CACC, on top of 10.9 points while sophomore forward Sabrina Clement (Queens, N.Y.) pulls down a team-best 7.1 rebounds and leads the league with 9.5 boards per conference game. Junior center Amiya Rankins (Somerset, N.J.) records a team-best 0.8 blocks per game that ranks eighth in the conference to go with 10.3 points while her 22.4 points per 40 minute average sits fourth in the league.

About the Devils
USciences (21-1, 12-1 CACC), ranked eighth nationally in both the WBCA and D2SIDA polls, hosts the Clippers after a 70-59 triumph over No. 2 Jefferson University on Tuesday, Feb. 5 in a battle of top-10 programs. The Devils boast one of the top defenses in the league, holding opponents to a CACC-low 55.4 points per game while ranking second with 69.2 points per game and 15.0 assists on top of 36.5 rebounds, 7.5 steals, 2.4 blocks and a .419 clip.

Irisa Ye leads the Devils, and ties for the best average in the conference, with 17.0 points on a league-leading .553 field goal percentage while Alex Thomas also ranks in the top-10 for scoring at eight with 14.7 points to go with a team-leading 5.7 rebounds. Ye leads three USciences student-athletes that average multiple assists with 2.9 and sparks the defense behind 1.5 steals while Mikaela Giulliani boasts 1.2 blocks that ranks fifth in the conference.
