BRONXVILLE, N.Y. – Sophomore guards Jackie Ciccotto (Staten Island, N.Y.) and Cameron Corbett (Staten Island, N.Y.) and sophomore forward Sabrina Clement (Queens, N.Y.) all set career-highs on Tuesday evening while junior center Amiya Rankins (Somerset, N.J.) matched her personal-record in scoring for the Concordia College (N.Y.) women's basketball team in a 77-68 loss to visiting Caldwell University in both team's Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) opener.

STANDOUT PERFORMERS
• Ciccotto eclipsed double-digit rebounds for the first time in her collegiate career with 10.
• Corbett dished out a personal-record nine assists with nine points and four rebounds.
• Clement scored a career-high 12 points on 4-6 shooting with three assists, a block and steal.
• Rankins scored 24 points on a .500 clip (10-20) with a block and steal.
• Junior guard Nicole Nicholson (Staten Island, N.Y.) tallied a team-high three steals.
• For Caldwell, Alessia Smaldone scored 32 points with nine assists and three steals while Calimah Singletary recorded a double-double with 11 points and 11 rebounds.
HOW IT HAPPENED
• Caldwell quickly created a double-digit separation with an 11-1 run to start the contest. Concordia cut into the gap with a 5-1 spurt off a triple from Nicholson and a pair of free throws from freshman forward Rhona McCaughey (Maspeth, N.Y.) to make it 12-6, but Caldwell ended the frame on 9-2 stretch to hold a 21-8 advantage.
• Concordia began the second quarter with a 7-5 run to get within at 11 at 26-15 with 7:51 remaining only for a 9-3 retort by the visitors creating a 37-18 score with 4:45 to go in the half. Both sides connected on a pair of free throws to keep the separation, with Concordia outscoring Caldwell 13-5 over the final 4:22 behind six points from Clement to make it 44-33 at the half.
• Concordia brought the deficit to single digits off a Rankins' layup to begin the third quarter, and got as close as four at 52-48 with 3:50 left in the quarter before a 10-0 Caldwell run created a 62-48 score with 1:32 to go in the frame. Concordia scored the final seven points of the frame off a McCaughey triple and back-to-back layups from Corbett and sophomore guard Saundra Cleckley (Queens, N.Y.) to create a 62-55 score heading into the final quarter.
• Caldwell opened the final frame with four points from the free throw line to take a 66-55 lead and split the final 22 points of the contest with Concordia to keep the 11-point separation. Concordia held Caldwell without a field in the final stanza, with all 15 of the Cougars points over the final 10 minutes coming from the free throw line.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
• The Clippers converted on 23-66 shots, going 4-17 from three-point territory and 18-26 from the free throw line.
• Caldwell finished 24-51 from the field, 7-11 from distance and 22-30 from the free throw line.
• Concordia dished out 21 assists versus 18 for the visitors.
• Concordia committed 18 turnovers, resulting in 20 points for Caldwell. The Cougars committed 22 turnovers, leading to 17 points.
• Caldwell held a 40-38 advantage in rebounds.
• Concordia' bench scored 11 points while Caldwell got seven from its bench.
• Concordia recorded 11 steals with two blocks while Caldwell stole the ball nine times with three blocks.
