BRONXVILLE, N.Y. – The Concordia College (N.Y.) women's basketball team hits the road on Wednesday, Nov. 28 to take on regionally-ranked New York Institute of Technology in a 5 p.m. non-conference contest.

About the Clippers
Concordia (1-4) travels to NYIT after falling at home against Molloy College 69-49 on Tuesday, Nov. 20. The Clippers lead the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) in assists per game with 15.0 while sitting fourth in offensive rebounds with 13.2 on top of 59.2 points, 35.8 rebounds, 7.6 steals, 2.8 blocks and a .355 field goal percentage.

Sophomore guards Saundra Cleckley (Queens, N.Y.) orchestrates the Concordia offense, and leads the CACC, with 4.6 assists. Junior center Amiya Rankins (Somerset, N.J.) paces the Clippers with a team-leading 13.0 points per game while boasting 1.2 blocks, the fourth-highest average in the CACC. Junior guard Nicole Nicholson (Staten Island, N.Y.) also averages double-digit scoring with 12.2 points to go with a team-leading 2.4 steals per game rate that ranks fifth in the league while sophomore guard Jordyn Hornbuckle (Hopkinsville, Ky.) pulls down a team-best 5.0 rebounds.

About the Bears
NYIT (6-1) hosts Concordia riding a four-game winning streak, reaching the No. 8 ranking in the D2SIDA East Region Media Poll after besting Bloomfield College 101-41 on Wednesday, Nov. 21 and Goldey-Beacom College 77-58 on Sunday, Nov. 25. The Bears average 69.7 points on a .391 clip with 42.6 rebounds, 11.7 assists, 10.3 steals and 3.6 blocks.

Meg Knollmeyer fuels the Bears, leading the team with 14.4 points, 10.6 rebounds and 2.6 steals. Corinn Baggs also averages double-digit scoring with 11.7 points while Zoe Amalbert dishes out a team-high 2.7 assists and Ketsia Athias records a team-high 1.3 blocks.
