BRONXVILLE, N.Y. – The Concordia College (N.Y.) women's basketball team welcomes Mercy College to the Meyer Athletic Center on Wednesday, Nov. 14 at 5 p.m. for the Clippers' home opener.

About the Clippers
Concordia (0-2) goes into its home opener after a pair of losses at the Merrimack College Tournament against eighth-ranked Bentley University and the host Warriors. The Clippers rank second in the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) after the season-opening weekend in assists per game with 15.5 while sitting fourth in rebounds and blocks with 36.0 and 2.5 on top of 59.0 points, 7.5 steals and a .348 field goal percentage.

Fresh off a career outing against Merrimack, junior center Amiya Rankins (Somerset, N.J.) leads the Clippers and ranks in the top-10 of the CACC with 17.5 points and 2.0 blocks, placing seventh and tied for second. Sophomore Cameron Corbett (Staten Island, N.Y.) also finished the season-opening weekend averaging double-digit points with 11.0, adding a team-high 5.0 rebounds and 3.5 assists that matches sophomore guard Saundra Cleckley (Queens, N.Y.) for the team lead while Cleckley holds a team-high 2.0 steals per game rate that ties for eighth in the league.

About the Mavericks
Mercy (1-1) heads to Bronxville after splitting a pair of contests at the STAC Basketball Classic at St. Thomas Aquinas College, ending play with an 82-71 victory over Nyack College on Saturday, Nov. 10. The Mavericks average 72.0 points per game on a .450 clip with 37.5 rebounds, 9.5 assists, 7.0 steals and 1.5 blocks.  

Amber Brown paced the Mavericks over the season-opening weekend, averaging 21.5 points, 9.0 rebounds, 2.5 assists, 0.5 steals and 0.5 blocks. Taysha Bender sparks the defense with a team-best 2.5 steals, while Abigail Collier also averages multiple steals with 2.0.
