WATERBURY, Conn. - The Concordia Clippers women's basketball team battled Post University for the second time this season on Tuesday evening. Concordia was unable to come away with the win at the Drubner Center as the Eagles secured the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) victory, 74-58.

Post began the first half with the game's first 10 points as the Clippers fell behind in the early going. Concordia would cut the deficit to single digits until a 15-2 run for the Eagles opened up a 21 point advantage for the home team at 29-8 with under nine minutes remaining on the clock. The Clippers held Post scoreless for the last 1:51 in the period and went into the locker room trailing 44-23.

In the second half Concordia began with a quick field goal as they looked to turn the momentum in their favor. The Eagles continued to knock down their shots in the half en-route to their second-best shooting performance of the season. The Clippers ended the game on a 13-5 run but it would not be enough as Post held on for the 74-58 win.

Freshman Julianne Wilkinson (Red Hook, N.Y.) led Concordia with a game-high 19 points off the bench which included a career-tying performance of four three-point baskets. Senior Mariah Berry (Southington, Conn.) would add 12 points on 5-of-9 shooting off the bench while senior Selbe Lo (Dakar, Senegal, Africa) had eight points and a game-high 13 rebounds.

As a team the Clippers shot 35.1% from the field in the game while the Eagles shot 44.1%. Post held a slim 42-40 rebounding advantage and a 33-20 advantage in points off turnovers as Concordia's bench out-scored the Eagles bench 37-18.
