Bronxville, N.Y. – The Concordia women's basketball team battled Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) North Division opponent Caldwell College on Saturday afternoon. The Clippers would need a win over the Cougars to earn the No. 4 seed in the CACC tournament but a strong performance by Caldwell spoiled Senior Day as Concordia fell 73-60.

In the opening minutes the Clippers would fall behind 5-0 but quickly responded to tie the game and keep pace with the Cougars for the first 12 minutes of play. Caldwell would go on an 8-0 run to take a 27-21 lead with 5:30 remaining in the first half. Concordia was unable to cut into their deficit and went into the locker room trailing 38-28.

The second half saw the Cougars remain in control for the first five minutes until an 8-3 run by the Clippers to get within three, 50-47, at the 11:52 mark. Caldwell would regain a double digit lead with 5:03 remaining on the clock and Concordia was unable to get any closer as the Cougars captured a 73-60 victory. With the win, Caldwell improves to 17-11 (15-4 CACC) and wins the CACC North Division.
