East Stroudsburg, PA – The Concordia College Clippers women's basketball team concluded the 47th Annual East Stroudsburg Classic this evening as they battled the hosts, East Stroudsburg University. After a tough first half for the Clippers, the Warriors cruised to a 75-60 victory, their second of the season.

Concordia started off the game by scoring on their first opportunity but East Stroudsburg responded with a 15-0. After a timeout by Concordia with 7:12 to go, the Clippers battled their way back to within 10 points after a jump shot by junior Sade Jones (Patterson NJ). The Warriors finished the half on an 11-3 run as they went into the locker room with a 41-23 lead.

In the second half, Concordia was unable to cut into the deficit as both teams were being matched point-for-point. Midway through the half, Clippers' junior Krystina Agard (Queens, NY) scored 13 of Concordia's 15 points during a nine minute stretch in an attempt to get them back into the game. She would not be able to get the team any closer as East Stroudsburg closed out the game on a 10-5 run to secure the 75-60 victory.

For Agard's effort this weekend, she was named to the All-Tournament team. She accumulated 29 points, 14 rebounds, four assists and three steals in 68 minutes for the Clippers this weekend.

Agard led Concordia in tonight's game with 21 points on 6-of-15 shooting from the field and shot 11-of-13 from the free throw line while added eight rebounds and three steals. Sophomore Tara-Ann Rock (Queens, NY) came off the bench to score 12 points as she shot 3-of-6 from the three-point line. As a team, the Clippers shot 32.2% (19-of-59) from the field while being outrebounded 41-34 by the Warriors. East Stroudsburg was able to move the ball well on the offensive end as they recorded 26 assists to Concordia's 12 assists.

The Clippers (1-5, 0-0 CACC) will next open up their Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) schedule this Wednesday, November 30th at Felician College in Rutherford, NJ for a 6pm game.
