Bronxville, NY– The women’s basketball team at Concordia surprised many opponents during the 2011-12 season. The team improved their record for the previous season thanks to a non-conference schedule that would prepare them for Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) play.
The Concordia Clippers women's basketball team held a clinic for the nearby The Chapel School at the Meyer Athletic Center on April 17th. 20 participants between grades 2nd-7th joined members of the Clippers' team to learn fundamentals.
Bronxville, NY – The Concordia College basketball teams may be done with their season but it was filled with so many positives which included three 1,000 point scorers and a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) playoff appearance, the first since joining in 2009. Both teams improved from the previous season and along the way they managed to set 29 new records that will be added to the CACC record books.

In Concordia’s last home game of the season, senior Chanessa Blakemore (Albany, NY) was honored as she played her last game in a Clipper uniform prior to tip-off. The Deacons spoiled the occasion as they edged out a 70-61 victory, their 12th of the season.
Wilmington, DE – The Concordia College Clippers women’s basketball team visited Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) South Division opponent Goldey-Beacom College on Saturday afternoon. After going into the locker room tied, the Clippers were unable to steal a win on the road as the Lightning won for the 18th time this season, 75-64.

After holding a 13 point lead at the half, the Clippers were unable to keep their lead as the Eagles won 72-68 for their sixth victory of the season.
New Castle, DE – The Concordia College Clippers women’s basketball team traveled to face Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) South Division opponent Wilmington (DE) this evening. The Clippers bounced back from their two game skid to win 78-71 behind first-year forward Mariah Berry’s (Southington, CT) career-high point total.

At this point last season, both basketball teams at Concordia College were not playing at their best. What a difference a year has made for the Clippers as both squads have improved.
