Agard drops in 25 points as Clippers fall to Bloomfield

The Clippers squared off with the Bloomfield College Deacons earlier tonight.  The Clippers started things off well in the beginning as they took the early 8-2 lead over the Deacons.  The Deacons then cut pushed back and were able to go ahead as they went on 14-2 scoring run.  The Clippers then tried to battle it out and keep the Deacons close.  At the end of the half the Deacons were up by 10 over the Clippers; 42-32.

The Clippers worked hard to start the second half of the game.  The Deacons tried to extend their lead over the Clippers but were unable to do so as they Clippers stepped up.  The Clippers brought their deficit down to four but the Deacons halted their progress.  The Clippers struggled in the final few minutes as the Deacons pushed on.  At the end of the half the Clippers dropped to the Deacons 60-73.

Krystina Agard dropped 25 points on 8-17 shooting and also added 6 rebounds and 4 assists.  Shelley Monahan put in 17 points while Alease Vaughan added 11.  Chanessa Blakemore led defensively with 11 rebounds and 3 blocks. 

The Clippers will return home to host the Wilmington University Wildcats this Saturday, February 12th at 1:00pm.
