The Clippers headed to Philadelphia to face off against the University of the Sciences Devils in CACC action today. The Clippers started off well but the Devils immediately stepped up and took the lead in just the first few minutes of the game. The Clippers struggled and during the Clippers stagnate run the Devils ran off 13 straight points as the Clippers were unable to answer back. The Devils continued to put pressure on the Clippers throughout the rest of the first half. The Clippers trailed 19-34 at the end of the first half.
The Clippers tried to get back into the game during the second half. The Devils continued to rain terror on the Clippers game as they held a double digit lead. As the clock ran out the Clippers fell 45-67.
Shelley Monahan and Krystina Agard put up 15 points each for the Clippers cause as Chanessa Blakemore added 12 rebounds.
The Clippers will head to Bloomfield College this Wednesday, February 9th for a 6:00pm game.
