Clippers avoid Warrior second half attack to grab the win.

The Clippers continued to play host, this time to the Nyack College Warriors.  The Clippers kicked the game off as Kendra Rivers put a good hook layup in the bucket.  After a free throw from the Warriors the Clippers went on an 8-2 run to go  up 10-3.  The Warriors then brought the game back within two points but that was short lived.  The Clippers then continued to play hard and fast as they shut the Warriors down for a few minutes and extended their lead out and into the double digits.  The Warriors tried to work back but the Clippers held them where they were.  At the end of the first half the Clippers held a commanding 19 point lead over the Warriors; 38-19.

The Clippers picked up in the second half where they left off.  The Warriors started to match the Clippers shots and cut their deficit.  The Clippers stepped up and were able to control a double digit lead.  The Warriors pushed the Clippers back in the final minutes but the Clippers held on until the end.  The Clippers defeated the Warriors 77-68.

Krystina Agard topped the Clippers points once again with 23 points as she also added 8 rebounds and 5 assists.  Chanessa Blakemore added another double double with 16 points and 10 rebounds.  Shelley Monahan added 15 points while Tara Ann Rock chipped in 10 for the night.
