The Clippers hosted the Philadelphia University Rams in CACC action this afternoon. The Rams racked up the first few points of the game and then held a steady four point lead over the Clippers in the first several minutes of play. The Clippers pace was slow on the offensive and the Rams took complete advantage as they extended their lead over the Clippers. The Clippers tried to cut their deficit but were unable to as time ran out in the half. The Clippers trailed the Rams at the end of the first half 27-41.
The Clippers continued to play at a slow pace in the second half. The Rams kept their shooting up and extended their lead over the Clippers some more. The Clippers tried to come back but the Rams held them off and the Clippers fell hard to the Rams 52-85.
Krystina Agard topped the Clippers offense with 23 points and 9 rebounds. Chanessa Blakemore went big on the defensive with 12 rebounds and 7 blocks for her game.
The Clippers will next host Nyack College on Thursday, February 3rd at 5:00pm.
