Agard's 25 not enough in Clippers effort at Post

The Clippers headed to Post University to complete the season series.  The Clippers opened the game up wiht a 4-0 lead in the first minute of play.  The Eagles of Post University then tied the game up but the Clippers reclaimed the lead and were able to hold on to a lead through the next nine minutes of play.  The Eagles struck against the Clippers with under ten minutes to play in the game as they took the lead away.  The Clippers tried to get the lead back but the Eagles pushed forward and held the Clippers off.  The Clippers trailed 29-40 at the end of the first half. 

The Clippers went into the second half looking to catch up agains the Eagles.  As the Clippers scored the Eagles matched their efforts.  The Eagles held the Clippers off through the end of the second half and the Clippers fell 59-72. 

Krystina Agard led for the Clippers with 25 points.  Alease Vaughn knocked in 16 points for her game while Chanessa Blakemore hit another double-double with 10 points and 15 rebounds along with collecting 5 blocks.

The Clippers continue their road trip as they head to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania this Saturday to take on the Holy Family University Tigers.
