Bronxville, NY  - Cordero puts up double-double as Clippers miss against Dominican

A good jumper from Dana Rommel kicked off the Clippers game against the Dominican College Chargers.  With the battle begun between the Clippers and the Chargers the game wouldn't take a break until the gym itself hosted a ten minute blackout halfway through the first half.  With the lights successfully back on it would be the Chargers who took full advantage of the next few minutes of the game as they took a small three point lead.  The Clippers staying on the Chargers heels continued to fight in the battle.  The Chargers took another lead before the end of the half as time ran out.  The Clippers trailed by five; 24-29 as they headed into intermission.

The Clippers entered into the second half strong as they battled once again keeping the game a tight one.  With unfortunately running into foul trouble early the Clippers saw signs of sturggle.  The Chargers ran with the ball at the first sign of the Clippers struggle and pushed the lead out the the Clippers reach. The Clippers dropped to the Chargers 62-73.

Shari Cordero put up a double-double with 17 points and 13 rebounds.  Dana Rommel was close behind with 13 points and 7 rebounds while Gianna Zonghetti added 10 points.  Brittany Binnie boasted 7 assists on top of her 9 points for the night.
