Nyack, NY - Lady Clippers slip to the Warriors of Nyack
The Lady Clippers faced off with the Nyack College Warriors in a CACC match-up. The Clippers scored first against the Warriors. Though the Warriors battled back the Clippers held their lead through most of the first half. As the Clippers held strong the Warriors found their way into the game and stole the lead from the Clippers just minutes before the end of the half. The Clippers attempted to take back the lead but were unable to do so and found themselves down by two at the end of the half, 20-22.
The Clippers battled with the Warriors through the second
half. The Warriors kept the Clippers at bay even though the
Clippers were knocking at the door. The Clippers found
themselves in a tight spot and were unable to over take the
Warriors. Though the Clippers fell 44-52 Shelley Monahan put
up 13 points while Brittany Binnie put up 10. Amanda Eggink
hit the boards with 10 rebounds.
The Clippers will head to Goldey-Beacom College to face the Lightning in a 1:00pm game.
