Men’s Cross Country Places Ninth At Baruch Invitational

BRONX, N.Y. – The Concordia College New York men's cross country team ran at the Baruch Invitational on Sunday morning, finishing ninth as a team in the Clippers' first meet of the year.

Notes 
• The Baruch Invitational featured 63 participants form nine colleges.

• Hunter College was the team winner, with Kyle Harris from Hunter being the first individual to finish.  

HOW IT HAPPENED 
• Junior Kyle Parris was the first Clipper to cross the finish line with a 40:40 time.

• Junior Hermes Abreu ran a 44:36 8K in his first collegiate meet.

• Senior Kendell Luquis, freshman Noel Vasquez and senior Andrew Medina rounded out the team with times of 55:39, 55:58 and 56:08 respectively.

The men's cross country team returns to the Van Cortlandt Park on Sunday, Sept. 15 to compete in the Queensborough CC Invitational.
