Fenoaltea And Chevalier End Play At ITA Cup With Victories

ROME, Ga. – The Concordia College (N.Y.) men's tennis duo of senior Eymeric Chevalier (Bordeaux, France) and sophomore Michele Fenoaltea (Rome, Italy) concluded play at the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Cup on Saturday afternoon on a high note, with the pair prevailing in the Division II doubles draw seventh-place match plus Fenoaltea earning a win in the singles bracket seventh-place contest.

HOW IT HAPPENED 
Fenoaltea bested Chase Bartless of No. 35 St. Edwards University in straight sets via a 6-4, 6-3 decision.

The duo won a three-set battle against Ben Wastwick and Alberto Diaz of Wichita Falls, taking the first set 6-4 before a 0-6 second frame forced the tiebreaker which the Clippers' pair prevailed in 10-7.
