About the Clippers
The Concordia College (N.Y.) men's tennis team demonstrated why it has maintained the top ranking in the region by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) at its last outing, the ITA East Regional, as sophomore Michele Fenoaltea (Rome, Italy) captured the doubles championship with senior Eymeric Chevalier (Bordeaux, France) before claiming the singles title. His performance at the ITA East Regional earned Fenoaltea the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Men's Tennis Player of the Month for Sept.

Freshman Jan Godfrey Seno currently sits second on the team with three singles victories, while sophomore William Nilsson (Bastad, Sweden) and freshman Maximillian Grundmann hold a 3-1 mark in doubles play.

After the invitational, Fenoaltea and Chevalier head to the ITA Cup, where the East Regional singles and doubles champions will take on the other seven Division II regional champions for a berth in the Oracle ITA National Fall Championship. Play in Rome, Georgia begins on Thursday, Oct. 11.
