New Haven, Conn. – The Concordia Clippers have been chosen to finish in 1st place according to the recently released Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Men's Tennis Preseason Poll. The voting was conducted by the conference's seven head coaches.
In 2012, the Clippers finished the season with an 18-8 overall record while finishing with a 6-0 CACC record. Concordia captured their third straight CACC Championship title and earned an automatic berth to the NCAA Division II Men's Tennis Championships where they advanced to the NCAA Round of 16 match. The Clippers will battle nine preseason nationally ranked teams this season as they look towards another successful season.
Concordia will kick off their 2013 spring schedule on Monday, March 4th with a 3:30pm match at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach, Fla.
