#7 Concordia Dominates Caldwell in 9-0 Victory

Caldwell, NJ – The seventh-ranked Concordia College Clippers men's tennis team got back to their Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) schedule on Tuesday afternoon as they faced the Caldwell Cougars. The Clippers showcased a dominating performance winning every set for the 9-0 victory.

In doubles competition, Concordia's Ricardo Frey (Curitiba, Brazil) and Geza Bazula (Budapest, Hungary) won 8-0 at #1 doubles as did the duo of Mark Mozer (Brest, Belarus) and Dane Ostilly (Westport, CT) at #3 doubles. Tomasz Olfans (Opole, Poland) and Jason Quintana (Holtsville, NY) held their ground at #2 doubles with an 8-1 victory as the Clippers took a 3-0 overall lead.

David Tisserand (Lyon, France) got things started off in singles play with his 6-0, 6-0 victory at #2 singles. Ostilly would follow with a 6-0, 6-0 win of his own at #6 singles while Bazula took a 6-0, 6-1 decision at the top singles spot. Mozer, Frey and Quintana closed out their respective matches with 8-0 victories as Concordia remained perfect in CACC play this season.

Concordia (11-6, 5-0 CACC) will be back in action this Saturday for a CACC match. The Clippers will host Philadelphia University at the Meyers Tennis Center at 12pm.
