#4 Concordia Dominates with 9-0 Victory over Bloomfield

Bloomfield, NJ – The fourth-ranked Concordia College Clippers men's tennis team got back to their Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) schedule on Saturday afternoon to face Bloomfield College. The Clippers dominated the match with a 9-0 victory to remain perfect in CACC play.

Concordia won all three of their doubles matches 8-0 as Tomasz Olfans (Opole, Poland) and Ricardo Frey (Curitiba, Brazil) took care of their opponents at #1 doubles while David Tisserand (Lyon, France) and Mark Mozer (Brest, Belarus) won at #2 doubles. In the #3 doubles match, Jason Quintana (Holtsville, NY) and Daniele Piludu (Cagliari, Italy) won to give the Clippers a 3-0 overall lead.

In singles competition, Concordia won matches one thru five in shutout fashion, 8-0. In the sixth match, Dane Ostilly (Westport, CT) allowed his opponent to win only one game in the 8-1 victory.

Concordia (8-4, 3-0 CACC) will next take on NCAA Division I opponent Fairleigh Dickinson University on Monday afternoon. The match, which will be played in Teaneck, NJ, will begin at 3pm.
