Men's Tennis Sweeps CACC Weekly Honors for the Second Straight Week

Two members of the Clippers Men's Tennis team earned weekly honors this week for their work in Las Vegas, Nevada. 

Daniele Piludu earns his first CACC Player of the Week just one week after receiving the CACC Rookie of the Week honor.  Piludu posted a 3-0 singles record for the week.  The Freshman from Italy notched straight set victories over #1 in the NAIA Fresno Pacific; #10 in Division II Abilene Christian, where he only let up three games through the match; and #25 in Division II Hawaii Pacific, where only one game was let up.   

David Tisserand, a freshman from Roquefort la Bedoule, France, earns his first CACC Rookie of the Week for the week ending March 20th.  Tisserand recorded a 2-1 singles record for the week with wins over Abilene Christian and a 6-0;6-0 win over Hawaii Pacific.  He also went 3-0 in doubles with his court partner Andreas Lindell. 

Piludu and Tisserand, along with the rest of the Clippers will open up their 2011 CACC run as they will host the Chestnut Hill College Griffins on Tuesday, March 22nd at 3:30pm.
