Dobrotka and Piludu Garner First CACC Weekly Honors of 2011

Tamas Dobrotka and Danile Piludu earned the CACC's first 2011 Player and Rookie of the Week Honors respectively.

Tamas Dobrotka, a senior from Ada, Serbia, earns his first CACC Player of the Week honor for the 2011 season.  Dobrotka went 5-1 in singles including grabbing big points for the Clippers against Flagler, Rollins and Barry, all nationally ranked teams.  Dobrotka also went 5-1 in doubles matches as he paired up with Geza Bazula and collected wins over Embry-Riddle (also ranked), Flagler and Rollins to help keep his team undefeated during their Florida trip.

Daniele Piludu, a freshman from Cagliari, Italy, garnered his first CACC Rookie of the Week for the week ending March 13th.  Piludu collected a 4-2 record in singles to start the 2011 season off as he collected wins over St. Thomas Aquinas, Fairleigh Dickinson University (Division I), Flagler (nationally ranked 12th), and Rollins (nationally ranked 6th).  On the doubles court Piludu paired up with Felix Missal for one of his 5 doubles wins and then paired with Andrey Boldarev for a 4-1 record including huge wins over Embry-Riddle (#3 NAIA), Rollins and Barry (nationally rnaked #2 now, was #1).
