Clippers complete the CACC sweep with a 9-0 score over Post

The Clippers hosted the Post University Eagles today as they finished off their CACC regular season.  The Clippers posted a 9-0 score over the Eagles, completing the CACC sweep for the 2011 regular season.

Tamas Dobrotka and Geza Bazula, at the number one doubles flight, were on course through the match after just one game slipped past.  Dobrotka and Bazula finished their match with an 8-1 score.

Andreas Lindell and David Tisserand hit at the number two doubles flight and held court throughout the match.  With eight games down the Clipper pair walked off the court with the 8-0 sweep. 

Dane Ostilly and Ricardo Frey teamed up at the number three doubles position.  As the first game went by the pair, Ostilly and Frey stepped up and took the next eight games to finish with an 8-1 win.

Finishing first in the singles matches was David Tisserand at the number two position.  Though one game went by Tisserand in the beginnning he completed his job on court in straight sets.  Tisserand defeated his opponent 6-1; 6-0.

Tamas Dobrotka was next off of court as he dominated in the number three singles position.  Dobrotka went twelve straight games with out letting one go past for the 6-0; 6-0 victory.

Andrey Boldarev was third off the court also with a straight set win.  Boldarev let nothing past him in the first set as he collected a 6-0 set win.  He then took the second set, just dropping one game; 6-1 for the match.

Andreas Lindell, hit at the fourth singles flight and followed in Dobrotka's scoring footsteps.  Lindell went twelve games in a row for a 6-0; 6-0 victory.

Ricardo Frey let just one game slip past him early in the first set.  Frey, at the fifth singles flight, continued on and was successful as he took the match 6-1; 6-0.

Dane Ostilly, rounded out the Clippers line-up at the sixth singles flight, with another straight set win for himself.  Ostilly took the match in not only straight sets but in straight games with the 6-0; 6-0 score. 

With the 9-0 win over Post, the Clippers have captured the CACC Regular Season Title as they are 6-0 in the CACC (with all six matches being 9-0 scores). 

The Clippers will host ASA tomorrow at 3:00pm and will head to the CACC Semifinals on Tuesday, April 19th.
