Clippers take another bite out the CACC with a 9-0 win over Deacons

The Clippers hosted the Bloomfield College Deacons today in CACC action.  Doubles hit the court first  and coming off first out of the three doubles teams was Geza Bazula and Tamas Dobrotka hitting in the first doubles flight.  Bazula and Dobrotka held court through their games and came away with an 8-0 win. 

Ricardo Frey and Dane Ostilly were next off the court as they followed Bazula and Dobrotka's match up with another 8-0 win. 

Andreas Lindell and David Tisserand finished the doubles at the number two flight.  With one game slipping by in the middle of the match, Lindell and Tisserand were victorious with a 8-1 score. 

As the Clippers got settled in for the singles matches they held a 3-0 lead over the Deacons. 

Geza Bazula continued his quick work on court as he was first off after two sets.  Bazula held court through his first set with a 6-0 score.  Bazula's Deacon opponent grabbed an early game but Bazula stepped up and took the rest coming away with a 6-1 second set win.

Tamas Dobrotka at the third singles position let slip an early game in the first set to take it 6-1.  Dobrotka was then able to hold through the second set for the 6-0 score.

Andrey Boldarev, at the number one singles position, came away with little trouble in the first set and a 6-1 score.  Boldarev's second set went a little longer as Boldarev hit a few unforced errors and dropped a couple of games.  Boldarev then turned it around to finish the match on his terms and took the set with a 6-3 win.

Felix Missal finished next at the number singles position and was dominate with an 8-0 win.

Dane Ostilly continued to play well and followed Missal's match with an 8-0 score of his own.

Ricardo Frey finished out the Clippers line-up hitting at the number four singles position as he also came away with an 8-0 score. 

The Clippers will next head to South Carolina for a three day stint where they will face Lander, Francis Marion, and USC Aiken.
