Clippers attack Cougars for 9-0 win

The Clippers hosted the Caldwell College Cougars today in a CACC match-up.  The Clippers continued their court presence as they swept the Cougars 9-0. 

David Tisserand and Andreas Lindell got a taste of the number one doubles flight and were successful throughout their match.  With eight straight games the Clipper pair let game slip by.  Tisserand and Lindell took the match 8-0.

Geza Bazula teamed up with Ricardo Frey in the second doubles flight.  The pair held serve four times and was able to break their opponents serve the same.  With an 8-0 score the Clippers notched the second point of the team match.

Felix Missal and Dane Ostilly teamed up at the third doubles flight as they too held court.  With an 8-0 score the pair rounded out the doubles for the Clippers to go up 3-0.

Geza Bazula took the number one singles position.  Bazula went straight to work and held court through both sets taking the 6-0;6-0 win. 

David Tisserand hit at the number two position and matched Bazula's scores.  With two sets and only twelve games Tisserand notched the fifth point for the Clippers with a 6-0;6-0 victory.

Andreas Lindell was back to his speed on the court.  A quick match for Lindell resulted in a 6-0;6-0 win.

Felix Missal also playing well came away with a perfect win.  Missal collected the Clippers fourth 6-0;6-0 of the match.

Ricardo Frey, hitting at the number five singles flight, was on his game today as he dominated on court with a 6-0;6-0 victory.

Dane Ostilly rounded out the Clippers line-up on court.  Ostilly's match made the Clippers perfect for the day with a 6-0;6-0 win.

The Clippers will next host the Bloomfield College Deacons on Saturday, April 2nd at 3:30pm.
