Clippers continue to dominate as they go 9-0 over Rams

The Clippers headed to Philadelphia University to face off against the Rams in their second CACC match of the season.  The Clippers were dominate throughout the match and came away with a sweep.

Andrey Boldarev and Daniele Piludu went back and forth for a couple of games and then broke their opponents three times to take an 8-2 win. 

Tamas Dobrokta and Geza Bazula were even up at 4-4 to start the match.  With a couple of service breaks Dobrotka and Bazula were able to come away with an 8-4 victory. 

Andreas Lindell and David Tisserand held court throughout their match.  Eight games later Lindell and Tisserand were off court and with a win.

Singles began with the Clippers up 3-0.  Andrey Boldarev, hitting at the number one singles position, found little trouble in his first set as he only let up one game.  Boldarev's second set was even at two before he was able to finish out the match on his terms collecting a 6-2 second set victory.

Daniele Piludu mirrored Boldarev's scores a little as two games passed him by in his first set.  After the first game in the second set getting by him, Piludu took the next six and defeated his opponent 6-2; 6-1.

David Tisserand, at the number three singles position, was working well as he took the first set with very little trouble, 6-1.  After the first six games in the second set, Tisserand was tied at 3-3.  Tisserand then finished his opponent off in the next three games for the straight set win.

Geza Bazula took on the number four singles position and only played twelve games total.  Bazula swept his opponent 6-0;6-0.

Felix Missal held court through his first set as he collected a 6-0 win.  With one game slipping by him in the second set, Missal held on for the others and won 6-1.

Ricardo Freyrounded out the Clippers line-up at the number six singles position.  Frey only let two games by through both sets.  Frey completed the Clipper sweep with a 6-1; 6-1 victory.

The Clippers will head back to Philadelphia on Monday to face the University of the Sciences.
