Clippers continue CACC run with win over Post

The Clippers went to Waterbury, Connecticut to face off against the Post University Eagles for the second time this season.  Doubles was first on the courts for the Clippers as Felix Missal and Raphael Namias was slated at the number one spot.  Missal and Namias completely took control of their match from the get go.  With four service breaks the Clippers went 8-0 over their opponents.

Tamas Dobrotka and Andreas Lindell followed suit and mirrored Missal and Namias' score as they too did not let up one game. 

Dane Ostilly and Shaolin Chandam were slotted for number three doubles.  After the Eagles got their first service game for themselves the Clippers pair shut them down and defeated them 8-1.

Singles was up next as all six matches were in straight sets.  Andrey Boldarev, playing at the number one spot was unstoppable through his match giving up just one game in the second set.  With a 6-0; 6-1 score Boldarev put the Clippers just one match away from winning the team match. 

Raphael Namias, Andreas Lindell and Tamas Dobrokta all racked up the same scores for each of their sets.  With breaking their opponents not once, not twice but three times in each set the trio were perfect with 6-0; 6-0 scores giving the Clippers the match and keeping their perfect CACC season.

Shaolin Chandam, at the number five spot, went perfect in his eight game pro set match with an 8-0 score. 

Dane Ostilly finished out the line-up for the Clippers and letting two close games on the Eagles serve slip by Ostilly finished the match with an 8-2 win and gave the Clippers the 9-0 sweep of the Eagles. 

The Clippers will face off against Fordham University later this week.
