The Clippers Men's Tennis team headed down to Chestnut Hill College to face off against the Philadelphia University Rams in the 2010 CACC Men's Tennis Championship Match.

The Clippers started with the doubles matches first for the day.  With the usual pairs hitting the court it was definitely going to be a good match.  Tamas Dobrotka and Andreas Lindell, playing at the number three doubles position were well into their match.  With dropping the first two Rams service games the Clippers pair stepped up and broke the Rams the rest of the way as they were first off the court with an 8-2 win.

Felix Missal and Raphael Namias dropped the first Rams service game to start the match.  With the match being on serve for a while the Clippers looked to break.  An unfortunate error allowed the Rams to break the Clipper pair first but Missal and Namias came right back in the next game and broke the Rams pair.  Missal and Namias pushed themselves through the rest of the match and came away with an 8-4 win.

Alex Grubin and Andrey Boldarev, at the number one spot, were adjusting to the courts as they played a little slower than what the pair is used to.  With a slower court the Rams were able get away with a couple more points than usual.  Grubin and Boldarev came together and were showed their dominance as a pair with Grubin's service power and Boldarev's strong forehand the pair defeated their opponents 8-5 and the Clippers were just two matches away from the title.

The singles matches were up next and as all six players started at the same time it was a race to the finish.

Tamas Dobrotka was the first done at the number five singles position.  With allowing only the occasional point to his opponent Dobrotka dominated the match.  With twelve straight games Dobrotka defeated his opponent in about 25 minutes with a 6-0; 6-0 score.

Andreas Lindell was next to finish as he likes to work quick on the court.  Lindell was challenged as he was pushed to the edges of the court.  Lindell surrendered just two games in the first set and defeated him with a set score of 6-2.  With some challenging shots of his own, Lindell was holding court and ended the entire match as he won the second set 6-1.

With the five match wins, the Clippers earned their first CACC Men's Tennis Championship.
